About Me

My photo
Upper Largo, Fife, United Kingdom
I'm a Geography graduate from Fife, Scotland. I like music, movies, spending time with friends, reading, blogging, walking, hiking, cycling and just generally being outdoors. Particularly interested in the environment, wildlife, conservation etc...hoping to get job with the countryside rangers in the future. I've always loved taking photos, it's the perfect way to capture the moment. Bit of an amateur but getting more into it since I moved to the east neuk. There is so much to photograph here! I have a penchant for macro shots, but I'm also extremely fond of landscape shots with lots of sky!

Recap from the last week

Been a bit behind with my "photo a day" thing, since Kerry was visiting and I've been feeling a little under the weather the last few days. So here's an update of what I've been getting up to and what I've been photographing!

Kerry, standing outside of Claire's accessories (with a cheese and onion pastie) as a distraction so that I could take a photo of the merchandise advertisement in the window, which stated "IMPRESS EDWARD" and "IMPRESS JACOB" (Twilight characters). I was in utter disbelief at the stupidity of the adverts in trying to lure young girls into buying accessories in order to "impress" a character from a book/film who doesn't even exist.

Kerry getting "suited up" for what turned out to be an extremely wet walk to the beach. Was actually a lot of fun.

Stuart on the roundabout at Pittencrief park, Dunfermline.

A wee self-portrait of Stu and I (think this may be the first photograph of us together). I like it muchly :)

Jellies at Shell Bay. An absolutely unbelievable amount of these jellyfish had washed up all along the shore. Not sure what was causing it or whether they're being killed off by something. Interesting site, though we had to watch our step. Slippery little buggers!

My mum and Pepe posing for a photo at Shell Bay.

While looking for somewhere at ******* reservoir to hide our first cache, my mother and I came across these two, rather upset, geese. Pepe wasn't the slightest bit bothered by them but their hissing really began to creep me out.
